02 Jul Year 1 Trip to Vauxhall City Farm
Year 1 had a brilliant day at Vauxhall City Farm. As they explored the farm, the children met a variety of animals and were excited to feed the sheep, goats and alpacas. During a hands-on workshop linked to their Science learning about animals, the children had the opportunity to stroke and hold some of the farm’s smaller animals, including a rabbit, a guinea pig and a chicken. The workshop leaders highlighted the different features of each animal and shared lots of interesting facts about them. A fantastic day was had by all.
