On Tuesday, Year 2 had a wonderful time visiting the Postal Museum, in London, as part of their ‘Communication Then and Now’ History learning. The children explored the Postal Exhibition, had some interactive fun in the ‘Sorted’ play area and then took a ride on the Mail Trail Train, which they really enjoyed. This year, we were also lucky to be there for an exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of Janet and Allan Ahlberg’s beloved book, The Jolly Postman. The children loved exploring the exhibit, which featured original artwork, a story-book trail, and immersive, fairytale-themed play areas. It was an extremely interactive day out and all had a great time!
