01 Jul Sunday worship at school
On Sunday 28th June, St Mary’s Church and St Mary’s Primary School came together for a special ‘Seeds Sailing On’ collective worship service held at the school. The service focused on themes of hope and reflection, bringing together families, staff, pupils and members of the wider community. We were delighted to be joined by the wonderful St Mary’s School Choir, whose singing added greatly to the celebration. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the year so far, look ahead with optimism, and strengthen the links between our school and parish communities.
We are holding ‘Sunday Worship’ services together on a regular basis; they are a wonderful public witness to the partnership between church and school and a form of our wider community outreach.
