07 Jul Summer Music Concert 2025
On Friday evening, we gathered together to enjoy the array of musical talent at St. Mary’s School. We heard performances from 3 choirs (including a pupil led choir), 3 soloists and from children playing guitar (both acoustic and electric), drums, keyboard, piano, violin and flute. We were SO impressed at the levels of skill, confidence and dedication.
Here are a few comments from some of the audience members who attended:
The best part was witnessing the kids’ joy and co-operation and support for each other! A wonderful occasion to celebrate talent, friendship and love. There was no stress- just love and music in the air. Exactly what was needed. Simple, heart-felt and real!
The staff have created a wonderful environment for children to express their creativity.
It was a great opportunity for children to perform in front of an audience, and for parents to realise how much talent and dedication to arts and music the school provides.
St Mary’s have worked exceptionally hard to nurture the children’s music ability.
Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity you gave to my son, and for all the hard work and time you’ve dedicated to him. It’s had such a positive impact, especially on his confidence. We’re truly grateful for your support and for everything you do for him and all the children.
Mrs Haggan has been doing a wonderful job with the kids and we are so grateful for all the hours and support and effort she has put into all this, she is amazing! And of course Mrs. Constantinou – for making this happen and for being an unbelievably incredible lead for this School. This is honestly touching on some children’s dreams 🙂
Here are a few comments from the children and how they felt after their performances:
Performing was scary but really enjoyable!
It made me feel happy. It was great! I would like to perform even better for next year!
I absolutely loved performing!! It was actually the highlight of the year for me! I went into the weekend feeling full of joy!
