We all had a wonderful time celebrating British Science Week 2023 at St. Mary’s.  The theme this year was ‘Connections’ and the children had many opportunities to explore this throughout the week. For example, all children enjoyed planting seeds in their class gardens and were able to make connections to water, sunlight, carbon dioxide, oxygen, butterflies and birds.  We were also delighted to welcome two parents from our school community, to discuss their science-based jobs with the children.  It was fascinating to learn about being an Optometrist and a Clinical Scientist.
