06 Nov Black History and Proud to be Me Exhibition
On Tuesday after school, we were delighted to exhibit our children’s wonderful learning about Black History and being ‘Proud to be Me’. The theme of Black History month this year was ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’, which we really enjoyed celebrating. It is so important to celebrate Black History and recognise its importance, not just during October, but at all times. As you can see from the exhibition photos, the children did an incredible job of creatively showing how vital it is to ‘stand firm in power and pride’, through their pride portraits, shoebox museums, posters, artwork, presentations and fact files. We are very proud of them!
