02 Jul Y6 School Journey to Norfolk
In June, Year 6 had the most wonderful time during their school journey in Norfolk! They stayed at Kingswood, near Cromer, and enjoyed an action-packed week, full of activities, yummy food, great friends and a huge amount of fun! As you can see in the photos, there were many activities which the children took part in, including Fencing, Leap of Faith, Jacob’s Ladder, Nightline, Caving, a disco, a campfire and many more. You can see from the joy on the children’s faces that a highlight of the week involved a trip to the local beach, where they got to visit the ice cream van, dig holes, build sand castles, play games and paddle in the sea. Throughout the week, the children were amazing at showing so many values, including courage, determination, resilience and kindness. They got on so well as a class team, encouraging and supporting each other at all times. It was wonderful to see the children flourish and grow throughout their time away; they challenged themselves and all felt a sense of achievement by the end of the week. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one them!
