28 Feb Y5: Shrove Tuesday
To mark Shrove Tuesday earlier this week, Y5 made pancakes and discovered that ‘to shrive’ means ‘to seek forgiveness’, ‘shrove’ being past tense. The children used maths and science skills to prepare and cook the ingredients.
