13 Oct Y4 trip to St. Albans Cathedral
On Wednesday this week, Y4 went on a visit to St. Albans Cathedral to enrich their learning in history all about the Ancient Romans. The children had a chance to dress up and role play as characters from the period and the class reenacted what a Roman forum might have been like. They learned all about who St. Alban was too and why the cathedral was named after him.
Y4 also had an opportunity to learn about mosaics and even made their own while they were there.
