17 Jan Y1 Synagogue Visit
Y1 visited the Barnet United Synagogue this morning and saw how it looked just before Shabbat on Friday evening. They saw the Torah scrolls and looked carefully at the handwritten ancient Hebrew. The children asked lots of questions that they had written together at school about Judaism and Shabbat.
