15 Jun Y1 Science with Mrs Wright’s Gecko!
During Science today, Year 1 were comparing the body structures of amphibians to the body structures of reptiles so Mrs Wright brought in her beautiful Leopard Gecko (called Al) for the children to meet 🙂 They really enjoyed looking closely at its different reptilian features, including the pattern on its scaly skin and the shape of its long tail. The children also enjoyed asking Mrs Wright lots of questions, including ‘Why do lizards’ tails sometimes drop off?’ and ‘What does it like to eat?’.
