17 Oct Open Evening: Caring for God’s Creation
We had a wonderful evening this week, celebrating in song, all the things the children have been learning to help to care for God’s creation. We heard about recycling, plastic, animals, the Earth and more. The children have been exploring what it’s like to be courageous advocates, highlighting the need for action to protect and care for each other and God’s beautiful world.
It’s brilliant that the school have taken the time to help children to understand such important issues – young children knowing about recycling and plastic use is so important for all our futures. Thank you. (St. Mary’s parent)
It was great to see how happy and enthusiastic the children were! (St. Mary’s parent)
I was very excited and I thought it was brilliant when all the grown ups clapped… (Reception child)
I felt really proud when I took my mum and dad round the classrooms because they said our work was really good. (Y3 child)
My mum is now taking a big interest in plastic and recycling because of our song. (Year 6 child)
