06 Jan Happy New Year – Y5 Callenigs
The Y5 classroom had a lovely Christmas spice aroma after making Christmas callenigs this morning. Callenigs are a traditional new year gift in Wales. The base is an apple and then cocktail sticks are used to create legs and then it’s decorated with cloves . They look good and smell amazing!
