It was a great pleasure to see the smiling faces of members of Friend In Need (FiN) at East Barnet Baptist church. Our choir sang carols to bring a bit of festive cheer during their Christmas lunch today. They also delivered the Christmas cards that the children had made for FiN members.

Here is a message from one of the FiN leaders:

Thank you again for bringing the school choir along to FiN. It was a lovely treat to start the Christmas party in that way.
The attention to detail in the design of the cards and the kind and thoughtful messages inside were really moving. All our guests received one just before they went home. We have a drop-in group on a Friday morning for people who are feeling lonely or who are struggling with their mental health. We will give the remaining cards out there. I’m sure they will put a smile on people’s faces.
