03 Nov Bulb planting at school and Oak Hill Park
This morning, Y6 had the great privilege of planting 1,500 crocus bulbs in Oak Hill Park. The children worked with Mr Loveday and Barnet’s grounds maintenance team (Mrs Constantinou’s dad even popped along too!).
We are very grateful to the Barnet Rotary Club for donating 2,000 bulbs to our school. All classes have now planted bulbs in our class gardens too.
We can’t wait for to see the beautiful flowers in bloom in the Spring. We hope that members of the local community also enjoy seeing the flowers in the park too.
